Reading minds for Samsung

Mind reading in the heart of London is always great fun and this event certainly was no different. I was invited along to entertain guests of Iris Worldwide at their Christmas event they hosted for members of Samsung. Iris Worldwide are a brand agency with 13 offices around the world including London, Sydney, Shanghai, and New York City to name a few. Working with brands including Nescafé, Speedo, Virgin Active and Guinness, hosting an event for Samsung was no biggie.

“HOW DOES AARON KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE’RE THINKING?!”

The event was held in a quirky venue in central London, the Happenstance Bar, located near St Paul’s Cathedral. On this occasion the organiser had put in a special request, as well as the mind reading and hypnosis for the evening they wanted me to perform some miracles with a Samsung Tablet, very apt for the occasion. So with Samsung Tablet under arm I proceeded to blow them away up close and personal.

Predominantly a tech-savy younger crowd it was an incredibly fun evening. Integrating my mind reading with the use of a tablet was somewhat of a novel experience. (No I didn’t get to keep the tablet, my iPad would have got extremely jealous) As well as my classic mind reading demonstrations and games, people found drawings they’d merely thought of and cards they’d plucked out of thin air appearing on the screen of the tablet. People were mesmerised (if I do say so myself) with this fusion of psychological mind reading and technology.

“Simply amazing! Aaron made the evening extremely entertaining, the best magician we’ve ever seen!”

Did I mention they were all sporting classic Christmas jumpers? Well they were… I didn’t get the memo but I did put on my new, more festive than usual tie for the event. Before long the evening of entertainment and festivities had come to an end, for me anyway, I imagine the rest of them carried on into the early hours of the morning. Ah London life.

What’s new?

Aaron’s show MIND GAMES is going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2016, you can read the show’s reviews to find out more information. If you’re looking to book Aaron for stage entertainment why not head over and look through his corporate and theatre work. Or just read a little more about Aaron Calvert if you have the time.
